How social+ works under the hood

  1. Sync feeds - Supply blankspace with your platform & channel names you’d like to include in social+

  2. Tag integration - Single JS tag added via GAM or Hard Coded on site.

  3. Auto-tag - Our engine transcribes, classifies and sentiment-scores every clip.

  4. Match on page-load - When an article renders, the same NLP Pass (MostRel™ ) we use for creator videos chooses the best in-house clip - or swaps in a vetted creator video if nothing’s on-topic.

  5. Monetise - In-stream or rewarded pre-roll using your GAM / Pre-bid setup via our ad server.

  6. Loop insights - We send viewing & engagement stats back into your analytics stack for smarter long term monetisation strategies.


Total tag weight is LIGHT at 72 kB - with a load overhead of <50 ms. Zero custom code beyond copy/paste.

  1. Do I need to re-upload assets? No. We ingest directly from the public or unlisted URLs you already use.

  2. What if I don’t have enough video content? There are two options here: A) We can specifically partner with trusted creators you’ve worked within the past - think journalists, videographers, photographers, Creators, etc… B) You can tap into blankspace’s library of thousands of approved Creator videos that are not only contextually matched to your articles, but are checked for brand compatibility between your brand & the Creators.

  3. What about brand-safety? Clips run through the same MostRel™ and SafeMatch filters creators pass. You control the final approval list of what should be used across your site & what shouldn’t.

  4. What demand is used to monetise the player? All of your own demand, be that via Prebid, Amazon TAM or GAM, we can integrate it all. We’ve prioritised a publishers demand first. If you want use to supplement demand we can use our marketplace to do that too.
